Alex Van Amburg was born & raised in Alaska, in a log cabin, on a river, & walked through chest deep snow to school, up hill both ways, for most of his childhood. He left Alaska to become Rich & Famous as an actor in Los Angeles. It worked so well that after ten years, he was living in his car & showering at the gym, which is  when he met Christi.

Her kind & generous spirit, but perhaps not her good judgement, led to them being married not long after, & relocating to the Pacific Northwest to raise a family. 

Alex is a Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators, a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas, & a Certified Cicerone with the Cicerone Society. 

Alex is currently pursuing his Advanced Pin with the CMSA, his WSET Level 3 Certification, & a Certified Wine Educator certification with the SWE. 

It’s safe to say he may need some other hobbies…

Christi is a Mom, Certified Yoga Instructor, Actress, & Artist whose passion for her family is only matched by her passion for creation. The driving force behind the podcast, Christi is always ready to ask the embarassing questions & make the silly mistakes. 

Born in the Pacific Northwest, Christi spent over a decade in Los Angeles, working as an actor for television and commerical work. That is also where she met her husband, and kicked off the particular chain of events that led to this moment right here.
